anyone retrofit 2k headlights for HID

So i bought the "JDM" headlights from ebay and i think they look awesome but i want to make them work perfect for HIDs. I have a 6k kit in there now, bixenon but the light from looks like ****. From what i can tell the reason what H4 halogen lights dont work right with a HID conversion is the cutoff. SO, has anyone found a part or done a mod to fix this problem. I have searchd all over the FREAKIN web and nothin is out there. I think i may have figure out how to DIY it but i would like the lighting experts on here to lend a helping hand. From what i have seen by just looking at HID housing (non projectors) the glare shield in front on the light has a halfpipe style to it to prevent the HID bulb from emitting light to the sides of the housing. Any thought.

1. they are not JDM since there is no such thing as a JDM part for a maxima
2. if you had done research you would have known that those projector headlights suck

Your best bet is retrofitting xenon projectors in place of the low-beam halogen projectors. Dr. Roy has done this; do a search for his username, as I think he has a writeup on his cardomain page. Once you do the retro, you can simply use D2S bulbs and be good to go!

so basically you have the "AE" headlights? not "jdm" yo

oh ya only way to make good use of your hids and have good output is to retrofit some real projectors that are made for hids

Yeah, I've seen those... I thought about buying them, but for $100 + I'll just pick up a second set and paint them myself, as well as polish the lenses and retro my projectors...

+1... I've got the second set of lights so that I won't be without any should I f something up.
