Important: Does DHL require a signature upon delivery?

Im in school right now and I have class in 20 min and I just checked the status of a package Im expecting from Cattman, a rear section exhaust (for the maxima) and it just arrived in my city. Im not home. If they come while Im in school, will they just leave it on my step? I wanted to get it installed today, thats the thing. I hope they dont require a signature. I should be home by 130...crosses fingers...

Anyone ever dealt with DHL?

For residential delivery (you) they do not have signature required, signature required is only for business deliveries. So you should find your cattman exhaust chilling outside when you get home.

ahhhh the status said "with courier for delivery" so I rushed home. As I was driving, I see the stupid truck driving in the other direction away from my house =/ I tried to follow it but there was too much traffic...this blows. I missed him 1 min

It depends on the value of the item you ordered and the shipper.

It depends on if the shipper requires a signature. Its a check box on the website and on the manual waybills. You can ship a $50,000 peice of equipment and wave the option to have someone sign for it. It has nothing to do with the value or if its a residencial address or not.

If i missed the deliveries, then I'd just go pick it up the next day at the distribution center. Since I live near the airport, it's easy for me but difficult for others.
