i have a 99 se-l automatic maxima what are the different manifolds available for this engine. i thought that a california spec or a canada spec car had a manifold that could be swapped to increase performance whats fact and whats fiction?

Nothing has to do with CA spec or Canadian maximas. It's the manifolds from the 2000-2001.

 

the lower intake manifold has swirl valves, the upper is the same as any other 4th gen.
