blue or yellow film

Right now I have lamin-x blue film over my fog lights. But now I am thinking of switching to a yellow film and trying to see if I can add the lexus capsules to them. Should I switch or keep them blue. Here's a pic of them while blue. Car is different now no CF hood, 19's, clear sidemarkers.

IMO, take off blue film, and use ONLY the yellow capsules.

That looks good! However if I did that, I'd get pulled over in a heart beat.

I don't get pulled over cause they look like they came that way. Plus once the lights are on they are not blue. These lights are great they got a wide pattern so I see more of the sides of the road seeing dear and other animals better. It's just sometimes I get the person with halgoens that barley light the road flash me. they are pointed more to the ground they anything. The yellow would be less output but should give me the extra sight. I could take off the film and just do the capsules.

Dude, your ride is bad ***! Probably one of the best looking I've seen. Not to flashy, I love it. I think the blue looks nice.

please don't listen to him... if anything, go to 6000K bulbs and no higher.
but i'd rather do 6000K HID fogs

If I did the 6k fogs I would have big problems. I would produce so much light I would be considered daylight. the bulb is in open sight the cap to only generate light to the reflector. They are bright enough as is.

Overall I think it looks straight now however, it doesn't match your headlights. They are blacked out. You should try and black out the housing on the fogs and just do the lexus capsules to still get the light output your looking for.

That's all reflector you can't black it out. I am going to try the clear with the capsule.

I had the yellow film and swithced to the blue because the yellow added no additional visability in fog etc. I like the blue better...

I really like your max in the pic. I see you've removed the hood. I am not usually a fan of the dark on dark but that looks really sexy. The chrome center caps and lugs add some class to that look instead of all totally dark. That carbon fiber hood is the one I would put with that bumper...I think they go well together. Most ppl aren't fans of that bumper, and I am usually not but the whole thing works. it looks very aggressive and mean. nice work. keep the lights blue unless you are actually encountering fog on a regular...then change them to yellow to help with visibility. NICE WORK.

The hood is off cause I cracked it around the hoodpins. I am going to get it fixed and paint it somewhat like what you did. New wheels are picked out. Adding the capsules would require to open the fog and it's glass. I don't know about opening it.

Thanks. I would be switching the lights to clear/yellow if HIDtech would e-mail me back.

could you black them out using nightshade paint and then use the yellow capsule to give it yellow light but mask them up during the day and make them match your headlights and rest of the car really nice

How about you keep the blue film, add the yellow and have some one off green foglights. You'd be really cool and gay at the same time.

Seriously though, every one has a million and 1 opinions. You, like everyone at one point in time liked blue lights for other people to see. If times have changed, roll wit it.
