speed bleeders - opinions?

I am considering getting a set of speedbleeders. I would like to get some feedback from any of you who have used these. Did anyone develop leaks or have trouble with them after long term use? Are they a good idea?
Thanks!

I posted this in general discussion as well, but this is probably a more appropriate place.

Ive been using them on different cars for over 5 years now. I won't do brakes anymore without them. Never had a problem with them, and they make bleeding brakes soooooo much easier. They are worth every penny and then some!

I love em on my max...so much easier and faster--without the need to bother someone to do it with you...

I have them on my AP brakes, no problems whatsoever. They sell a bake on sealant for the threads that work awesome also.

I had them on my previous max. One of them was messed up when I got it but I cannot remember if it either didn't open to bleed or didn't close to seal - I installed them like 4 years ago. So I just installed the 3 of them that worked and dealt with the other one. I probably could have contacted speedbleeders and gotten it replaced in a jif, but I didn't bother. Other than that they were great and a real life saver. I should have taken them out of the brake calipers when they carted my old max off to the junkyard.

I appreciate all of the responses. I just ordered last night... hopefully this will make replacing my caliper much less of a PITA.

is all the people here using this for racing/auto x purposes? or daily driving?

ideally i think you should just bleed brakes every 2 years or so. i have a vac hand pump that has been doing its job on a good amount of cars with no air leaks. but i see how it can cause leaks.
