I just put on a Cattman Y-pipe and rear section and it feels a little sluggish. I was expecting a little more power, not a little less. I didnt do the B-pipe yet, nor did I replace the cat. From what I read, the stock cat should be fine, unless I'm mistaken. Maybe the computer has to make adjustments for the change? I didnt think it was that much of a change, but what do I know.

 

You probably have to do a ECU reset. Search for the HOW-TO on an ECU reset. Also, make sure you didn't damage any O2 sensors.

 

ECU reset for 2k/2k1: unplug battery for a few hours.

 

how long ago did you install the y-pipe? right after i installed one on my 00, i was disapointed because it felt the same. after a few days....way diffirent story!!!
