I am guessing this topic was probably covered once. Anyway, I don't like the SE/GLE exhaust finiher. Has anyone tried swapping it with some other after market ones? What fits great? I am trying to go with dual pipe look. After all, Maxs have dual exhaust pipe.

Honestly, it does look a litle strange. You can get dual pencil tip exhaust pipes that I think would look better. I think Desert Pearl has them on his Max. They look good.

I hate to sound stupid, but what do you do when you have to change your muffler? Do you take them off or buy new ones?

Well, if you have to change it then you'll need to replace it with something else right? So you can either purchase another OEM muffler or buy an aftermarket muffler.

I guess no one really tried changin the tips. I see these exhasut tips in Pepboys (like Brospeed, and Bola) and I am wondering if these will fit.

Oh yea, one more thing. How is the exhaust finisher attached to the exhaust pipe? Welded? Simple screw?

Thanks.

I buy exhaust tips for all my cars at pepboys. They sell simple chrome tips for 3 or 4 bucks a piece, and they last about six months and i buy new ones. They are cheap and look great, and come in many sizes and styles.
