Gah! I knew this day would eventually come...56K warning

After putting on my Stillen kit, I always thought it would happen in my own driveway, but I guess after adding air to my tires at Speedway, I didn't pull out at a big enough angle, even though it wasn't that much of an decline.

Damage isn't too bad, and you can't notice it unless you're on the ground, but still... I guess I can touch it up with some paint. I went 1 month, 1 week without managing to damage anything.

And now to the game...GO BUCKS!

I'd be more concerned with your mis-matched tires than unavoidable scrapes.

Hahaha yeah I knew it was going to happen.
I got a nail in a tire a while back. Just replaced the fronts and kept the rears.

nismopc, where you the guy at the quaker steak meet last time?
Are you coming to the meet next Saturday?

I feel your pain. My max is not even lowered and I had several miscues. There was one driveway where I thought I was good but me and my friend heard a loud scrape. Augh! As a result I decided to have some crown to ease my pain.

You should have seen my 89se. I had the stillen kit on with sprint springs in the front and I would scrape so much, sometimes there was no helping it at all

How many people see the bottom of your car...

I did worse to mine the first day I had it on, on the way out of the body shop as a matter of fact. I would get used to it, and you cannot see it while looking at the car standing up.

wow...I thought this was going to be something interesting. Hell, I had scrapes like that on my car before it was even lowered, or had any lip at all....

How did you like the Nitto 555s? I hated mine. Finally changed to Pzero Neros and saw what a much better tire feels like.

I actually had the Pzero Neros before the Nittos when I had my MM EVO5's. the Pirellis were outstanding IMO. Nittos came with my wheels...they're so so.

Yes I was/am. I did not know about the upcoming meet, but I'll be in Indiana for a wedding. Maybe next time.

edit: Ah I just saw the thread. Hooter's off 270. I haven't been on OhioNissans a lot lately. Been toying with the car too much, playing with some different installs of Linux on my 2nd PC, and spending a lot of time with my kids (soccer, gymnastics). Ok I'll keep my eye peeled for the next meet.
