26mm 300zx calipers?

What all would i need for a brake swap on my 4th gen w/o ABS?

I'm considering picking up the calipers, so that's one thing off the list. Which rotors work with the 26mm aluminum calipers? And what else will I need?

From this site... http://www.mattblehm.com/300ZX_brakes.htm ...It looks like I will need some sort of rotors that will work with the 26mm calipers (idk what would work), some custom SS brake lines, relocation brackets, and misc hardware (like what?).

The kit from that site w/o rotors or calipers seems to be the best for my situation, as long as I can find rotors somewhere else. Is there anywhere else I can find this stuff for less $$$?

And does $120 seem like a good deal for the aluminum 26mm calipers, or is there something else i should be looking for (are the 30mm ones worth the extra money).

If you want to use the Z32 rotors, milled down to fit the 26mm calipers are fine. You can't run any of the other rotor combos with the 26s. For $120 I would keep looking for 30mm calipers.

I have the 26mm setup on my car, however I got the calipers and rotors free.

Heck, for about $160 you can get remanufactured 30mm calipers with a 1 year warranty - the Aluminum ones from the 1991 Z:

Add in the $50 core charge on each caliper and the deal goes up by $100.

How do you get around that?

A beat up old set of 30mm cores - good luck finding that.

Even if you did, just put new seals in them yourself and save even more.

And you know the rebuilder can tell the difference in the 26 vs. 30, and they are holding your core charge hostage..................
