who has nissan maxima halos from ebay?

i have an 2002 infinit i35 and i was thinking about buying some infiniti i35 projector halos for my car however i need some advice. does any one have the projector halos from ebay. i think ebay is the only site that carry this type of headlights. if someone has the projector headlight how is the output is it better than the stock hids. does the ebay headlight require modifications.

i like the halo projectors way better than stock thou with the hids but your stock with hids so im not sure if you would gain or loose

If you do get those headlights you will need to retrofit them with better projectors in order to get the nice light and color output. Go to HIDPlanet and start reading.

The output is garbage and overall dangerous. There is a reason why they are so cheap. AE your stockers.

There is a thread on this in the I35 forum, the pics found of the beam pattern shows the output sucks.

We installed one set for a customer and he was not happy with a the light output and you can't put HID's in those headligts!

What do you mean you can't? The new bulb is simply H7, just get a D2S/R to AMP harness of eBay along with a H7 HID bulb and you can re-use the OEM ballast.

Picture above was with the projector came with the ebay housing. Light output may not be the best. The projector uses H3 bulb, I personally recommend using Micro/mini H3 bulb.

Your best option would be to get those then do a retro with OEM HID projectors that will replace the low-beam halogen projector.

well i currently have the nasty looking 00 headlights in my 02 maxima (previous owner must have been ripped off the oem lights) and one of my lights are damaged and needs replacement. i love the look of the projectors but if the light output is horrible, what is my other options?

anhhuy8, this is not the first blatantly reposted discussion that you've started. In future, please try looking through old threads and the stickies in this forum and in other forums before posting new threads for simple information that is already out there. Thanks.

This friendly reminder applies to everyone else as well, which is why I'm posting this here instead of just sending him a PM.
