Custom Gauge Pod for Five 60 mm Gauges

I've seen plenty of people using a single, double, triple or two double pillar gauge pods in their cars. Here is my question which I haven't seen any info on in the past. I have 5 Apexi gauges (60 mm) which I would like to mount in a custom made gauge pod which will hold all of them. Does anyone know of a company out there that makes any custom gauge pods for our Maximas. If not, where would be a good place to start looking for one, company/person that it. Also I would like to hear your input in regard to the wire clearance that I will have to take into consideration. Please speak up and let me know hear all of your opinions & comments on this subject.

Right back on the subject. I am hoping to install 5 of these gauges into a custom made pillar. Whoever has four gauges installed in two double pillars, please post some pics.

lawlz.

Wire clearance is next to nothing. In fact, you can cut the housing of the gauges off with the exception of the display to minimize the total size of the gauge.

If you want to put all 5 in one location, go to your local tuner shop, and have them fiberglass one. Proabbly run you $300 - $500

Oh, and why in Gods name did you purchase all of those gauges?

You do know there are digital controllers out there that will provide you with all of that info in a centralized display, right?

having that many guages seems like it would be pain on the pillar...that would take up a fairly large amount of space.

After looking at wiring once again, I would have to agree with you on not having any wire clearance issue. I would like to have them all in one pillar, and fiberglass one might be a good idea.

Yes, I looked into that. Just decided to take this route instead.

At the moment, the AE is N/A. Although the V1 is going on the car early 2007.

The pillar should be fine. After test fitting all five gauges, there shouldn't be any problems at all. Taking into consideration these are 60 mm gauges as well.

1. Boost (x100kPa)

2. Fuel Pressure (x100kPa)

3. Oil Pressure (x100kPa)

4. Oil Tempreture (C)

5. Exhaust Temperature (x100C)

IMO, it's pointless to monitor any of those except for Oil Temperature.
