Aftermarket floor mats

I want to buy a set of all-season (rubber) floor mats for the upcoming winter. I found this, RubberTite Floor Mats. It seems it is cut to custom fit any cars. Anyone have this?

What did you get/done to protect the carpet?

They look like crap and don't even have a finished lip to hold water from spilling onto the carpeting. What good will they be in wet weather or even holding mud and dirt from spilling out the edges?

YGWYP4 Junk is cheap.

The diamond metal ones look great, but from what I saw, it won't trap water/mud/snow.
