It's Official 5th Gen GXE

I am officially moving to the 5th Generation. Unfortunately the love of my driving is about to be retired for good and will be replaced by a Black 2000 GXE.
Stats:
One owner (old lady driven)
Factory 16' Alloys
Spoiler
Cloth Seats
78k
Price 8200
Not much but it's a start.
I wanted the GLE perks like Leather, Sunroof but not possible. But hey if anyone has a line some Black Leather power seats lmknow.
Will power seats work in a GXE? Do I have to by harnesses for that? Help on that please.
Looking to get a factory BOSE CD/Cass with speakers at resonable price. Gotta have my Bose. Drop some hints if someone you know is trying to get rid of them.
I'm a family guy with two jobs so I really don't do to many engine mods but I will take suggestions.
Long Live Gracie(95' GLE).

Why didn't you just get a loaded GLE or SE? It would have only cost you a little bit more if not the samefor a Maxima with Leather, bose, etc after paying extra for the stuff seperately.

try to stay away from bose many problems in the 5th gens (check the audio forums for more info). be happy your getting a spoiler. a leather swap and a sun roof are good projects if you get some one to help ya out. or just put down a coupla extra bucks to get it done by a pro.

Dude screw the bose, your better just getting some regualr aftermarket HU and speakers. Its probaly easier to install and will sound better and cleaner.

sunroof, dont even bother trying. aftermarket ones leak.

Congrats on the new car. I would highly suggest that you skip the Bose system. At low volumes it is ok (not great), but anything more is asking too much of it.

I thought the 2000 maxes have the same engine as ours, so shouldn't it be in fact slower since its heavier than our 4th gen?

...00vi... it depends on the rims and transmission. on the highway they will take our 4th gens. but depending on the rims, 4th gens will take them from a stop.

Thanks for the advice it will be noted!
I osted in the Fourth forum because that is where I started. Unfortunately there were not many oppurtunities to find a clean Maxima in my budget range.
This one had all it's service records so it may be step back a little to the GXE.
This number four in my family of Maxima's, I am just glad I found it. I almost joined the Pathfinder family
I am going to go aftermarket after reading your replies and looking at some threads about the 5th Gen Bose I am going to stay away.
I had to switch because I put my 4th Gen for a water pump swap and a crack was found in my engine. It is driveable but it is losing compression and it just ain't too reliable. I am getting ready to go to school because of a job promotion and I need some reliable transpo.
I have now officially left the 4th Generation building. Thanks again guys!

My brother's 01 Max smoked the crap out of my 99... not to mention it looked better, had a better interior, and had a better ride. Not really sure where that is coming from, imo the 5th gen > 4th gen.
