short shifter opinions

hey guys ive been reading about short shifters on here and i know everyone recomends the B&M but im not willing to spend 150 bux on just a short shifter its just not worth it to me, i saw the one on custom maxima for 100 and this one on ebay,

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SHORT...ayphotohosting

anyone have any experience with this one or have any comments or suggestions about it?

Thanks

Dave

I have the CE one. I like it a lot. I have heard the ebay ones tend to break. You wont be disappointed with the CE short shifter.

I love my B&M but realize that some people may not love the price. Ceasar uses a relatively cheap shifter in his car, I forget the brand name though. It might be the CE one. The only reason why I mention him and his car is because well, his car is awesome and has kicked but in numerous races. I.e., that shifter has apparently held up very well under greater than normal demands.

Don't get the fleabay one. If you search there was another thread started a few days ago about the cosmo one from fleabay. It hits the shifter trim in 1,3,5 gears and it some cases breaks it.

You have a few options on STS.
1) B&M expensive yes, but it's pretty much good quality.
2) Stillen way to much for something like this
3) Pacesetter alot of good things said about this
4) CE sells one as well and from what i've heard it would be the Pacesetter but i'm not to sure.

NO FLEABAY STS!!!

I'm taking my B&M shifter out next week probably so if you're willing to wait a week or 2 i'll sell you mine for $60 it's only been in the car for like 3-4 months and works great.. it's just that i'm putting the car mostly back to stock cuz I might be selling it next year to get a 6th gen..

Courtesy Nissan sells them. Its pretty much identical to the B&M except it doesnt come with a ****. You can use your stock **** or get an anniversary one like I did. I have no problems with it hitting the trim. I think I paid $65 for it. Just needed some hand tools and a pair of snap ring pliers to install. Took about 30 minutes.
