question about swapping seats

didn't see anything in several pages of searching...

I've got an 04 SE with cloth seats... power drivers seat, no memory, no heat.. manual passenger seat..

if I swap leather full power seat in, what would work with the wiring I have? just the power movement? would the memory work or does that require extra wiring? I know the heated seats wouldn't work without installing a switch..

and while I'm at it.. anyone know how much work it'd be to do that kind of wiring? I'd like it to be stock parts, so, swapping console parts would be required I guess (for the heated seats anyway) ... any other info?

one last question: the 07's have different seats, no? they hug you a bit more? any idea if those will fit?

thanks

For the 07 seats i think they would just bolt on if you have the works meaning leather etc.. i mean the body is the same on the 04-06 max so there shouldnt be any different in bolting them on the 04-06 max. As for you trying to make the power seat work on your regular car it would be hell because you would have to rewiree alot of stuff. My opinion not worth the money to spend on. happy modding.

sounds like a nightmare..just seel yours and buy a car with leather, that why I have allways bought leather no matter what. Do a search and see if there is a CLASSIC SOFT TRIM in your area. They do excellent work and can cover your seats in leather. they do all makes and models, and tell them that you know someone from a dealer that refferered you to them and they wll do your 2 fronts and back for 899
