How-To Change Coils on a VQ30DE-K

Alright fellas, just finished this one up. Now we will have one for the 00-01 max's since I saw a couple requests for it. Hope it helps.

Coil swap for your VQ30DE-K

Great write-ups! One question though about the fog light rewire.

Basically, there will be no "FOG LIGHT" relay anymore? Just the AC relay?

Also, this maybe a super noob question, how do you secure the yellow wire into the A/C relay without a soldering iron?

Now you need to add the write-up so that the clock doesn't dim with the lights on. It's very elementary. It's was beneficial to me atleast. But good compounding of write-ups

Yes, the fog light relay is still what turns the lights on. All you are doing is giving the fog lights a power source that will be on regardless if the parking lights are on. Also, you can use taps to splice into or "tap" into the wires however I don't recommend it for the sheer fact that it takes most some practice to get crimping down solid. Solder FTW! It is the most solid connection regardless.

I actually might just have to do that since a request was put out. Appreciate the feedback fellas. Keep it comin'...

No torque wrench necessary. Tighten a little past finger tight. The NGK Iridium's are what I used. Paid around that price as well...so far so good.
