re starting issues

Hi all, new member here. I have an 06 that will not re start after its shut off. I've had it a good shop, they have checked all the obvious (codes, fuel pressure, live data etc), scoped the crank and both cam sensors, scoped the coil drivers and injector drivers. When in the failed mode the injectors are not being energized but the coils are. There are no NATS codes, and the security light remains off while cranking. They suspect either a stretched timing chain causing cam crank sync issues, or defective ecu. Suggestions?
