Has anyone been able to open up their tails without having to dremel

Nope I've been working on LED tails for months and this was the only way I found to open them

are they similar to the headlights in that you can bake them in the oven to open them up?

no but ill like to know also...specially that im about to paint my tailights can anyone point me in the right direcction !!!

that's the only way to open them...with a dremel. Baking will just melt them.

I did on a 96 I30 to take out the amber plates in it. But these ones don't seem to be "bakeable".

I have tried baking them and it did not work and almost did melt them. You will have to Dremel them to take it apart
