my little bushings review.

i just got back form having my es bushings installed so i thought id give a lil feedback. no pictures, i didnt think theyd really be needed.

my suspension consists of...
JIC A1s,
ebay fstb/rstb,
and progress rsb.
i suppose wheels n tires should be noted as well. theyre 17/8 enkie rp01s with 255/40 dunlops.

my car has 75k and isnt driven hard, its my daily driver.

the install was done in two parts
the first stage the parts installed were
-es mm
-es lca bushings
-new lcas w/balljoints
-es subframe bushings
-es sway bar bushings, 23mm/SE
-new oem sway bar end links
-Larrio shifter bushing, not directly related, but an amazing product nontheless
*no alignment done at this time since itd be back soon to finish up*

review.
its rather hard to pinpoint due to the fact that i had parts that were old and worn replaced. its be a much beter comparo if i replaced new with new, ut thats in a perfect world. anyway. the cars so much more alive now. more responcive. the car feels much lighter and more fun to drive. altho the front felt great the rear still had that" hey im still here, kinda" personality its always had.

on another nte, i figured the car would ride much rougher with the bushings installed. with my car it seemed the opposite. theres a lil more noise from bumps. but the car seems to transmit that energy right into the dampers like they should. much more confident.

part 2
-es rear trailing arm bushings
-alignment
not directly related but thought i should note
-pass raxle installed

Review.
accoring to the installer these things suck to put in, well luckly i can add that at least to me they make a huge difference. again i figured they would make the ride more harsh, but they didnt they mearly made the ride more poised and confident. and no added noise that ive noticed. and altho i dont know if this makes sence, but i have much less rear squat on accel, and the front seems to be a tad more squirrely. ie torque steer. not enough to really notice, but the car has the feeling of having more power than it used to, even tho it doesnt(of course). perhaps thats the alignment. but i guess if the rear bushings arent absorbing the rearward load, its gotta go somewhere.
i thought the rear would be more choppy and less refined, i was wrong, it feels much more composed.

all in all. this car finally fels more alive, it acts much smaller than it is. very much like a stock spec v, my brother has an 05, i go back n forth often.

now that i have all these installed ive become much more apperant of the slow steering. im not looking to speed that up, whether it be bushings or a different rate rack. anyone got anyword on that steering bushing ive heard about on here?

i think thats it for now

big thanks to blackbirdvq for his install skills and patience!
