Has anyone with a 5.5 gen ever had to replace their MAF? I noticed most of the people who have reported having MAF problems are people with the 00 or 01 5th gen Maximas. I have see a few 5.5 gens but very few. All 5.5 gen owners please chime in because I would like to know at approximately what mileage you had your MAF replaced. I am having MAF problems and I am about to spend about $500 for a new MAF so I though I would get some feedback from people with 5.5 gens.

NmexMAX thanks so much for that link. Man I appreciate it a lot. I did'nt see that one before. So I guess I can buy the 01 MAF that costs about $90 and swap the IAT and it should work just as well in my 03 from what I read. That would save me a bundle. Thank again for the link.

 

yea i got a 2002 gle, and my maf blew last month and just did the IAT sensor swap and saved a crap load of money, and it works great with some noticeable HP back
