Anybody running Warpspeed High-Flow CATs? (And Y-pipe)
Anybody running Warpspeed High-Flow CATs? (And Y-pipe)
Well...two things:
Warpspeed is selling both their Y-pipe and HI-FLOW CAT on eBay for roughly $300 total. Now, does anyone here have a WS CAT? How is it? I personally didn't even know they sold a hi-flow CAT because I never hear anyone here talking about it -- so I'd love to see some feedback.

I have the metallic substrate cat and I like it, I believe the one on ebay is ceramic substrate. I bought it to replace my stock cat that I thought was starting to fail but wasn't really bad. I wouldn't say there was much of any gain if that's the kind of information that you are looking for. I think that someone else makes the cats for them. The fitment was great but I wasn't sent the correct gaskets at first, I called them and they mailed them to me the same week.
yea.. dyno results show that if u go high flow cat or even test pipes, it is at a gain of 1hp or so.. so its pretty useless if your stock cat is still in working condition and waste money on this while it is illegal
I am an automotive tech student currently and I see lots of cars with hi-flow cats and straight pipes, let me just say one thing - this is a very low modification in every sense of the word. If you're running a stock b16 honda then you might benefit from a straight-thru cat, but our beefer vq30+ are twin bank V6 which means we fart a lot of noxious fumes, especially with stock configuration which runs us a tad rich to be on the safe side, not to mention we already have the power there that stock civics are yearning for. With hi-flow intake and exhaust modification, you end up releasing unsafe amounts of atmospherically corrosive gasses, so a good, maze-design catalytic converter is important, it also acts as a good thrust resonator if you have a y-pipe or upgraded exahaust manifolds.
High flow cat will only give you about 1hp if that, but its good if you stock one has alot of mines on it or if you think its failing.
Personaly i dont like warpspeed, i had 2 flex sections crap out on my 4th gen y-pipe.
