"Updated" coils are OEM Nissan replacements for problematic coilpacks that were used on many 99's. There are a ton of .ORG members (including myself) with 99 maximas with troublesome coil issues. Since the 99's were produced, Nissan remade these coils - not that they are better than "stock" coils so to speak, but they are better stock parts. Seeing you have a 99 se-limited I'm assuming you are also having coil issues.

I've realized that my cylinder 4 is bad, if you dont mind can i just buy 1 front one?, im not sure yet but as of now that's what i need.
