everyone has said tokicos aren't known to last too long but i've heard they feel great right when you get them on...has anyone on here actually worn out a set of tokicos? maybe they have changed for the better

hehe, my post was asking the same thing, but it got posted twice... tried deleting it once, and both deleted.. so i dunno..
anyway, i was reading some posts under the gen. maxima forum.
someone said that tokico's last around 1.5 years until it becomes 'crappy'...
anyone know if this includes the tokico's for the 5th gen?
and will my springs wear out or be forced to replace my springs at the same time? or will they be uneffected...
spending ~$600 every 2 years will suck =\

After market tokicos lasts pretty long! They are adjustable, so if they are worn out, they could be adjusted to a stiffer setting. For the 5gen oem tokico, they are pretty good i think. I abuse them alot and they are still very stiff.
I thought that springs usually have a lifetime warranty (life of the car or one million miles). Something like that anyway. Only the shocks/struts go bad, not the springs, under normal conditions and wear & tear.
