Can the AE Door Sills be installed on a regular SE? I love them! They are the bomb from the pictures I have seen. If you can use them, where do you order them? Cost?

If I recall, the cost is $60 for all four. Check the parts list sticky FAQ at the top of the forum page.

How much does DaveB sell them for? Less than from Courtesy Nissan?

Dave doesn't work for Courtesy - he works for Town North Nissan. He always give us the best deal he can and in the stuff I bought from him (AE pedals, door sills, floor mats, accelertor pedal assembly, almost a body kit, and other various items) he has been less expensive.

As much as I hate the dumb a$$ people who work at Courtesy (I'm sorry for anyone I've offended) try www.courtesyparts.com ask about the Maxima.org discount which they'll make a big deal about giving you...

This link above will take you to the page. They are about 1/4 of the page down. I'm thinking my SE needs them BAD!

I'm assuming the part #s on the Courtesy page are the actual part numbers for the Nissan parts. . . As in, if I call my dealer, those are the numbers I should reference?

to take your old ones off, you use your brute force, and pull them out. their held together by 2 or 3 plastic snaps.

Because at the time he first had it available, I wasn't sure what direction I wanted to go - the AE one, the Stillen one - or none for now. So, I didn't pull the trigger, but the price he had was very good.

AE Sills

Take out your old sills using a tool called a door trim remover. Your old sills have three small slots on the sides where the trim remover fits. The sills will pop out. Then pop in the new sills. A simple but elegant upgrade imo. Anybody need my old black sills?

Don't forget to write down the color codes for your interior before calling, as they come in different colors to match the interior. You'll find them on a plate on the firewall under the hood.

I believe their discount applies to OEM products which include the AE items but not K&N filters or FSTBs which are not standard parts of a Max out of the factory.

When I called to order my CD changer, they told me that the discount was only good on OEM parts, and not on accesory products. Thus I was unable to get a discount for the changer. Most of the things listed on their website (e.g. splash guards, chrome wheels, wind deflector, etc.) are retail and the discount does not apply. However, things like oil filters and stuff DO qualify for the discount. I'm not sure about the AE parts though. You might want to call them about that.

I think that the discount does apply to those accessories that come through Nissan. Psing23 got the discounts but it took talking to the right rep to get them. I'm pretty sure that you'll get the 25% off on AE parts. I say just order through daveb...he likes us. Good luck. =)

Ordered my Door Sills today from DaveB (THANKS DAVE!). He was great and I didn't have to mention the discount. All I had to do was mention Maxima.org and he knew. I will definately use him again for ordering parts!

It's just a flat head screwdriver with a like bend in the tip so you can get under the trip a little better. Make sure you wrap the trim remover with a cloth so you don't scratch everything like they do at bestbuy

I have been ordering exclusively from DaveB...he's a great help to us. I was talking to him about Courtesy and he said that they are kinda sketchy about their discounts...sometimes they offer it and sometimes they don't. I believe TimW got a CD Changer from Courtesy with the discount. Don't quote me on that though.
