Snow Shoes

****EDIT**** WHEELS AND TIRES FOR SALE. 600 + S/H OBO. SEE THREAD IN WHEELS & TIRE FOR SALE SECTION...

Finally got around to putting my new winter setup on. Not saying the car will see any weather, but if need be then im prepaired. The rims are staggered 350Z Enthusiast wrapped in 225/55/17 Blizzaks. I wasent sure how these would fit being the staggered offset, but with the spacers I run they fit and sit great. Heres a few pics.... Cant wait for a little snow

I love it! They are hot. Those are some seriously beefy tires. I live in Sc, where we get some snow and a good bit of ice. Snow tires aren't really considered here, unless you're a drama queen. I just don't go out for the few days it snows here.

Those look good. I love the rims. Keep up the good work.

KCmaxx,

Good timing on the tires. Not sure about your part of MO, but I hear we may be in for some of the white stuff (and freezing rain) later this week. Maybe up to 7 inches of it.

nice looking setup...had blizzak ws50's (16" steel rims) on my 2002 max se, they were great on snow and ice...would just like to add the following:

i live in buffalo ny, perceived snow capital of the usa...own a 2004 maxima se, which is occasionally driven in the winter (own a '95 chevy lumina beater),
i just put on a set of nokian wr's 245/45-18 (stock rims) for year 'round use.
so far they perform quite well on dry and wet pavement (a tad noisey but not as noisey, it seems, as the oem rsa's), am anxious to see how they perform in the snow...

My car sits in the garage at least 4 days a week. Its a third car and I mainly drive it on errands, Fri. nights ect... The only reason I have a "winter" setup is my daughter is in daycare and if something was to happen where I need to pick her up I can. We usually dont get a lot of snow during the season but we do get a few bad days. Im sure these will be for sale before too long... Thanks for the replies

Took the car out on the ice today....

WOW!!! First time driving on Blizzaks for me. Im sold 100%. We got about an inch of ice last night and I had problems all day in my 1 ton van so I decided to try the car for awhile. I could not get stuck. Went and played around in a few parking lots with zero problems. We're expecting 8-10" of snow tonight.... cant wait! If you guys need snow tires these are the way to go.

I'm about 100 miles west of St. Louis and we first got a coating of freezing rain/freezing fog (the worst), then about 3 inches of ice/sleet, and finally this morning when I went outside there was probably about 6-8 inches of total snow/ice accumulation.

About an hour south of Colombia, roughly. I guess they got about a foot of snow there.

Also, glad to see you still have power. I heard earlier that there might be as many as 2.4 million people without power in eastern MO/western IL. I wouldn't want to be without power when it is 15 degrees and you can't leave your house.

I got up for work at 3:30 this morning still snowing by the way and later this morning found out I didn't have power. I stayed with some relatives so I wouldn't have to drive far to work so I decided to check and long behold no power. I hate winter
