Should I buy 6000k Bixenon kits?

I am having hard time driving my car at night so time for me to buy HID. I want to able to see the roads at night. I know getting 4300K or 5000K might help me to see better at night but Techone HID and HELIOS HID only make 6000k (and 9000k) Bixenon kits and their prices are good deal for HID. Will 6000k Bixenon kits help me to see better at night? Is there any other company that makes 4300k or 5000k Bixenon kits that have good price as Techone or HELIOS kits? Should I go ahead buy 6000k Bixenon kits?

Thanks!

i say go for it. 6000k is not too high of a color temp, everyone else will agree, its the best combo for looks and lum. but make sure you get the shield that cutsoff the beam to reduce the glare.

I won't agee ^^

6000k bixenon will give no better visibility than your stock lights. yeah, they'll look more "white" but simply put they will not give increased visibility.

6000K will def. help you see MUCH better....my advice is dont get anything over 6000K....anything higher and you are losing light output for color

been there done that, well 8000k's but either way, i wont recommend it, ull see more but at the expence of no cutoff without the sheilds, and ull blind everyone, just save a lil more and get 02/03s. so u can actaully see and not blind people.

but if u really want bi-xenons ill sell u my old 8000ks.

Question...

If I buy 6000k Bi-xenon kits, can I change bi-xenon bulbs to 43000k or 5000k with same kits?

He is absolutly right. Light out put will be far worse. I'm not going to try and explain all the opticts to you since people always try and argue against it.

You will have a different color light, shooting out all over the place. You will have less usable light on the road infront of you.

Case and point: 8000K HID kit (with shield) v OEM e46 / hella / phillips retro.

that car on the right looks like it has projects, am I right? Cause if I am then your comparing 2 different types of head lights. Cause projector head lights will always be better than regular HIDs no matter what.

You sir are correct. I am not denying that projector HIDs are better then reflector HIDs. Infact it was well known that HID Projectors are some of the best headlight setups around. I am simply using the picture to demonstrate the reduced output by an HID kit and a halogen reflector setup. It also is a great demonstration of the glare (and therefore danger) caused by these worthless kits.

Any HID kit in reflectors or projectors not designed for HID output. AKA Putting xenon lights in a halogen reflector. They are designed in a different way. THe halogen has filiments that run one direction, while the HID bulb's arc runs in a completely differenet direction. So you get glare, and ****ty output.
