In the middle of VI swap, question on fuel rail

I"m in the middle of doing my VI swap, and I'm having a problem with the sx7r.com fuel rail off fitting leaking fuel. Is there suppose to be a gasket that goes in between the fuel rail and the fuel rail off fitting? Did anyone else have this problem?

There is a little black O-Ring that goes on the fitting, then you lube that up and slide it into the fuel rail. Without that O-ring you will leak fuel fast !

cool, the fitting didn't come with an O-ring. Would the little black O-ring on the bottom of a fuel injector work?

Thanks for the help guys

Its probably a different size. Get one from nissan or a local auto parts place

Bring the fitting to autozone and have them look for an o-ring to fit.

One is the damper (front) and the other is the fuel pressure regulator (rear). You can leave the damper, things work just fine with it on there.

on the regulator and on the damper, its a nipple & hose coming out the side and a nipple and hoses coming out the head(top) of both, but on my fuel rail its only 1 hose on the damper. What do i do with the other one?

Still not 100% sure what you're talking about but both of them need vacuum sources, the larger hose is the fuel and smaller is for vacuum. Fuel goes into the damper side & returns via FPR side.
