Looking for new speakers (6.5") [non-Maxima], need help.
Before you read anything else, please know that cost IS a factor. I have the money squirreled away, but I have a lot of other things to spend it on over a stereo...
So anyway, I am looking for front stage in my 2003 Sentra SE-R SpecV. Right now EVERYTHING is 100% stock. I have picked up a Pioneer Premier DEH-P580MP for the HU, and will be going with some sort of 6.5" coaxial or component setup for the front doors, with some 6.5"s in the rear deck (most likely a set of Alpine Type-S that I picked up for $45 BNIB).
I have the factory components in the front. I will be powering their replacement with an older RF amp, a 250a2 (62.5 W x 2 RMS into 4 Ohms, 125 W x 2 RMS into 2 Ohms, 250 W x 1 RMS into 4 Ohms Bridged).
So because the Sentra has the a-pillar mounts for tweeters (much like the A32/A33 do), I like the idea of having the soundstage brought up by tweeters that are on/above dash level. To be honest, though, I hope to sell this car in the spring, and I don't know how much work I really want to put into the car. Most of what I am considering is an easy swap-out, except for the component situation. Assuming that any option will be run off of the amp, I have 3 choices, really...
1. Spend ~$100 on good (mid/high level) coaxials, disconnect the tweets, and run the coaxials off of the amp,
2. Spend about the same amount on some entry-level components, or
3. Spend more (but not really over ~4$180 shipped) on mid-level coaxials.
Options for each (links to assist):
Option 1. Pioneer REV coaxials: TS-D161R (Basic Pioneer):
http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...tailsComponent or the TS-D601P (Premier line, same speaker):
http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...tailsComponent (~$100 for either set)
Polk dB650: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-UNbWbOZ...=fp&I=107DB650 (under $100 online)
Polk MOMO MMC650: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-UNbWbOZ...07mmc650&wm=su (~$110 online)
Option 2. MB Quart Discus line (DSE216, DSD216, or DSF216) http://www.cardomain.com/item/MBQDSF216 or http://cgi.ebay.com/MB-QUART-DSE-216...em270065860604 (~$100 on eBay, or $140 from SoundDomain[Authorized])
Infinity Reference 6010cs http://www.crutchfield.com/S-UNbWbOZ...00&I=1086010CS (~$100 on eBay)
Option 3.Polk dB6500: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-R47GyWu...00&i=107DB6500 (~$150 elsewhere) at 2" deep.
MBQuart RUA216: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-R47GyWu...search=quart+6 (~$150 elsewhere)
CDT EF-61NEO: http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?...roduct_ID=4894 ($180) at 2.187" deep.
I also like the Infinity 60.7CS: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-R47GyWu...2E7&i=108607CS (~$150 elsewhere) at 1 15/16" deep, but I dislike the nominal 2 ohm inpedence.[/QUOTE]
Any thoughts? Basically, I would love to keep the budget in the $100 range. I know that that most likely means going non-authorized, but (knocks on wood) I have only had one speaker fail on me in all of my dozens of speaker sets throughout the years. Still, even paying $140 for those authorized Quarts is not bad. I just don't know enough to know whether good coaxials these days are better than basic components.
Any/all help is appreciated.

I have 3 sets of so-so coaxials. One set will be in the back of the Sentra, one set will go to my brother, and the other set will be sold off. None are mid/high coaxials, or I would just use them in the car.
So which is better to go in the front: mid level coaxials or low-end components?
