2k2 headlights with ebay angel eye mod

Hello everyone I have a 2000 nissan maxima and I just picked up a set of 2k2 maxima hid headlights off of ebay. Might I add they set me back alot of $$$
I also bought a set of E46 angel eyes off of ebay for $36.

I'm planning on putting the headlights in the oven and then doing the ae mod on them and also installing the angel eyes and purchasing clear lenes from home depot or frosted lens from tap plastics to clear out the blinker.

Here is a write up on how to open the headlights.
http://www.innerbean.com/housecor/clear_HIDs.html

Also i'll make a write up on how to install the ebay angel eyes. It will be a different process than installing the Umnitza angel eyes

hey guys in going to post pictures as I go and in the end im going to make a complete write up.

I have a question for the guys that have put the ebay angel eyes on their headlights.

On the high beam ring the angel eye is a little too wide of a circle to fit perfect and in having a hard time getting the glue to hold the angel eye on there due to the fact that in forcing the angel into the shape I want and the glue cant withstand the force. Im using 60 second epoxy.

Intermatic Malibu ML11P2 11 Watt Sealed Beam from Home Depot. I traced the orange lens on the clear lens from home depot. Then I used a cut off wheel on my dremel to cut it out.

Clear lens installed.

Stock silver bezel

Painted gloss black

very nice, did you get the CCFL's for $36 or the LED's?

I'm planning on doing the E46 CCFL's, let's see some pics.

Then you answer my question. Are they CCFL's or LED? Did not ask if they were just $36. Doh!

well, if you really want to know...
  1. you can not buy CCFL's for $36 - not even used
  2. you can CLEARLY see the leds on each end of the rings.
  3. CCFL's are very skinny - not thick like the led ones.

ok thats all.
