6000 miles. Hard starts, Cold or hot and kind of random. Leaky fuel line. Change the plugs! Mine are still from the junkyard which is probably why the car starts hard and hesitates.
Broken transmission. Yay!

Daily driven:
-Engine off a '03 Infinity I35 with ~20,000 miles
-Extra ~25,000 hard driven miles on my 4th gen (JWT ECU and 150 N20 shot)
-Another 1,200 miles alongside a Vortech SC with 2.62" pulley
Zero problems

14k on mine,185k on the body. So far no problems with the motor.
Because of the Spec Stage2, I had to replace the motor mounts quickly and re install my 5th gen setup.
Since changing the clutch the car has been perfect.

I bought the car at 185,000 kms. Ran the VQ30 for 3000 kms. Swapped the VQ35 in at 188,000, 250 runs and 5500 miles later I sold it to my bro with the 3.0L back in at 197,000.
It's pretty simple really. If you just do the swap and call it a day, the car will smell like fuel, idle high and be in need of a tune. Yet despite the fact that you're cool if you knock on the VQ35 these days because "it burns oil", both the 3.0 and 3.5 are solid engines with FAR better track records than the everage Honda enthusiast is willing to admit.
But other than that weak @ss 4 cylinder transmission crapping out on you (5-speed), it won't leave you stranded. In fact even though I broke 2 gears it never left me stranded and always drove home on its own power except when the axle popped.
It was the last FWD car I'll race and mod.

Lucky you were able to drive it with broken gears. I got standed at the drag strip with my first gear blown. It kept going from forward to reverse while in second gear.
What 4 cylinder cars have the 5speed? Do you know the model number of the 5speed?
