Good kit. That's pretty much the standard price for it on eBay. If you want a good balance of ride, handling, and looks, go for it.

Performancepeddler has the kit for 528 shipped. Just mention that you are a member of this forum. I just got one last week. Ordered on Monday and got it delivered by Friday.

I've got them on my '96. I like the drop and the improved handling. Mine are set to 3 all around.

Yeah, its an SE w/ chrome grille... *ebay*
Ok, cool - thanks a lot guys. So with the adjustable shocks is that for the stiffness?? Oh, I was thinking about just getting the shocks and torching(warm them up w/ a cutting torch) my stock springs to lower them a bit.

I bought mine on ebay, broke one and went to Performance Peddlers for the replacement. Great people, I would buy from them again. I have all of mine set on 1. But I am an old fart and easily amused.

Sort of.

A harder setting will make impacts harder but keep your car from bouncing and wallowing around. A softer setting will increase the bouncing/wallowing but make impacts softer. You have to find your own balance.

As d00df00d said, it is a bad idea. The Tokico springs are progressive rate and if you were to cut your OEM's you probably bottom out alot.

On ebay, how come the "Manufacturer's Part Number" are all different from performancepeddler? TOKILK204, TOKILK244, TOKILK234, TOKILK286, TOKILK262...
are the all the same though? they all have the same name: "Illumina Series Advanced Handling Suspension Kit," but the prices range from $500 - $598

I've just been informed by Dan from performancepeddler that they are out of stock for the 4th Gen maxima tokico kit. BTW if you're gonna change the struts you might as well get the strut boot and strut bearing. It is almost a sure thing that they are worn by now.

I also want to get a set of these

Where do I go to buy a tokico suspension kit with the springs. Couldnt find it on Ebay or on performancepeddler. Does this come with everything already put together and all I have to do is install it in car. Kinda like a coilover kit?

Not sure why this thread was brought back since the other newb made clear that they were out of kits. The kit itself comes with some hardware, shocks, and springs. It's what you need to install but you usually need other smaller hardware stuff that's recommended to be changed out. Go do some research on suspension. There is a great thread somewhere about all the parts involved in suspension and what is commonly replaced during suspension upgrades.
