I am currently undergoing a 5 speed swap into my 1996 I30. Does by any chance anybody have a pressure plate and a clutch.....an an interior tan shift boot. The donor car that everything is coming off of is a vq35de swapped into a maxima. He wants to change it to a 6 speed so i'm getting a tranny, short shifter, axles, fly wheel, tranny mount and shift linkages. And also anybody got any tips or any other parts laying around that i'm willing to buy. Just PM me if you want to set up a paypal.

 

Look around in the for sale section. But, I wouldnt buy a used clutch. Just buy a new OEM clutch.

 

The shift boot doesn't come in tan. I have beige interior, but my boot is black.

 

^It comes in brown.

 

With the package the guy is giving me. (He's part of Maxima.org) I'm pretty sure I would need a clutch pedal assembly and also a new pressure plate to go along with the clutch. I'm going to the junkyards in the morning to search. With the black shift boot does it look kinda weird that you have two totally different colors in a car?

 

It really doesn't look wrong cause the middle center console parts are all black. such as the climate control module, single din pocket, pull down tray door
