No, the tint is lower in the front. Legal limits. Notice how the windshield isn't as dark as the back windows, either.

Yeah, CA requires a front plate.

Nice-looking Max, though, I'm impressed. I'm tempted now to spend a few hours in the driveway and try to get mine that clean.

I drove my 96 for 2 years without a front plate. I sold it to my best friend and the second day she had it, she got pulled over for not having a front plate. How ironic.

He's not saying you're gay, just gay law... unless You like that law(I can't imagine anyone prefering their windows like that) I wouldn't object

Sorry hazepurple that your thread has kinda turned into a mess here, but apparently, Black Maxima didn't learn anything on his 2 month vacation. His could be the shortest re-in statement eva.

Looks clean, but is the kit really necessary? Especially if you're 18. Oh and what % tints do you have? I'm about to hit up a tint shop within a few weeks.

the i.d. kits look really good on maxs... for the tint i have 5% (limo) in all the rears, and 0 in the front 2 and windshields because of the law, and i ahve to leave my front license plate too cuz of the law. but if you wanna go out on a limb, go ahead and get 5% in the front, that's what im gonna do next week, the only reason i was scared is because this was awhile ago when i got the car tinted.

Nice job, I got 20% tint on my front two windows and went limo tint on the rest of the three, and have never been pulled over for the tint...shoot with all the cars in Cali that got illegal tint they would be pullin over everyone....I say go for the darker tint on the two up front!

Another possible "mod" you might want to consider would be to replace those 96 fluted glass headlights with some 97-99 style clear plastic headlights. That will also help to update the looks on the car.
