i need to turn off the CEL on my 2000 maxima, do i need single or dual output simulator from o2simulator.com for the car?

 

Nice T-Bird. I used to own a 94 4.6L and I was very sorry after I sold it. I've been looking for a 96 or 97 4.6 with low miles to mod. Didn't all 96 & 97 Sport models come with a spoiler?

 

Did you get the P0430 Low Efficiency Catalyst code?

Get a dual output simulator, you can simulate both downstream sensors (if you're calispec like me)

 

get the dual wired one...thats the one you will need

 

i have a fed spec one, my scan tool told me so

and yes i have a cat effiecency code, the rear o2s either bad or the cats bad, one or the other, im going to gut em later, for now im going to wire in the simulator

so the dual output will simulate like the car has 2 o2s?

i think i may need a single output though, i was under the impression it only had one rear o2?

 

no mines a fluke car, its wierd, it has rear drums no abs and no spoiler, but is def a sport as it has a JJJJ suspension code, but i have the LX brakes. it doesnt look as good as that picture, i have the stock 16s back on it, and the chrome tips are gone as they got the car to much authoritative attention

have you looked at the tccoa.com for sale section? they have alot of nice cars, and anything under 100k for these things is low miledge, they run like tops thats for sure
