Has anyone done, or had done, a timimg chain, tensioner,& cam gear job on their ride yet? Is it necessary? i got 155+ miles and about a 2 second chain rattle on cold startups.Suggestions???

 

the startup rattle is common. if it doesn't persist after you've warmed up then I'd say leave it be. Change your oil too if you haven't done so recently. That can sometimes help and or eliminate the startup rattle. I had the rattle until I changed over to 5w30 synth. Now it's pretty much gone.
