Has anyone tinted their taillights??? Can you provide me with pictures. I just recently removed the orange out of the tail lights and made them red and white. I'd like to tint the red part black a lil bit. Also did you spray the lights yourself or take them to be done professionally? Thanks

You can always use VHT Niteshades. 3-4 coats of this stuff and you should be good. Just apply til you get the desired effect.

VHT Niteshades would be sprayed on the outside just like any spray paint.

You can also get some Laminex (pretty much removable tint precut to your car headlight and tailight specifications) I believe you can get it from www.stickercity.com my boy with a 6th Gen just got the set for the head and tails for like $100. It is a bit expensive...but just another option if you do not want to paint your lights.

The amount of coats really depends on how dark you want them.....I would say no less than 2 for anything decent

I did quite a bit more then two coats. Light shines fine through them, even passed state inspections with them.
