Few Questions: JWT Ecu, MEVI & Nitrous.

Hello all.

Ive been reading a bit and I was wondering a few things.

-Im thinking about getting a JWT Ecu. I currently have a y-pipe, b-pipe, intake, underdrive pulley and a hi-flow cat. What would be my estimated hp/torque with the JWT ecu?

-I was also wondering if I would need a MEVI for the cheap to reach its full potential. How much would shops charge me for the install?

-One last thing, do you all think a 50 shot Nitrous system would be a better investment than the JWT/MEVI setup?

thanks

1. HP with a JWT ECU with your current setup I would gestimate 195ish WHP may lil closer to 200 whp....(
dont quote me...I am going off my BASE Stock Numbers with NO mods)

2. You need th ECU to reach the full potential of the MEVI...install you can do its not too hard

3. I am anti-nitrus so I would say no....

For a 50-75 shot you deffinitely don't need a different tune for nitrous as opposed to your normal tune, the nitrous takes care of itself and your stock fuel system and stock timing is okay by far. So I guess it just depends what your wants are. Do you want a little more power potential in the high rpms everywhere you drive, or do you want the ability to get a big kick and maybe burn some unsuspecting person occasionally, when the need grips you. Its really up to you.

depends how **** u are about your tune....right now if your tuned for an NA setup with fuel taken out and timing advance then you do need to adjust the tune....

as far as shop install they figure about 8 hrs of labor at whatever their labor rate is...it may not take that long but thats how much they will prolly charge in time...IF They would even do it
