This may be posted in the wrong section, but i have tokico blues and i am wondering if the spring coils are supposed to be tigher on top rather than bottom or vice versa? Sounds dumb, but im not sure how they go.

are you talking about the fronts or rears? factory springs? if it is the front the smaller radius goes on the bottom. either way only one end will line up with the base of the strut.

 

ok, so i figured it out, but now i want to save my alignment, i have the alignment tools that u put on the lug nut studs that is supposed to save you from having to get an alignment. My question is, how is our alignment adjusted, from the top of the strut under the hood? or from the knuckles that the strut mounts to?
