Brake lights not bright enuf?

So the other night i almost got rearended due to brake lights not being bright enuf. He said that there is hardly any difference between my driving lights and brake lights. Anyone have any similar complaints? from people following u? and any possible solutions, i thought about led bulbs

Or are your brake lights even working correctly?
If they are, then they are definately bright enough.

yea its an excuse...i almost got rear ended one night either because the guy behind me didnt see my brake lights or turn signals...i got home and checked all my light and they were fine and brake lights were def bright enough...now the tail lights alone they could be a but brighter but are still good enough to unmistakably know there is a car on the road at night

Are your tail lights smoked, tinted, or altered in any way?
If not, then regular 1157 bulbs should be more than bright enough.

If you want to go brighter, they make halogen 1157 bulbs that are like 15/50w. No one's gonna miss that. About $10 each though.

and besides, you got a third brake light that ONLY goes on when you hit the brakes....so that guy's gotta be blind, talking out of his ***, or maybe you do in fact have a burnt out third brake lamp

Oh, I didn't realize that was considered a 3rd break light. I suppose I have a 4th break light then, haha.
