Pwned by bugs...need advice

I negligently left love bugs on my car and this is the result.

It happened a few months ago so the damage is done. I clayed the hood, but it did not help much. Is there any way a professional shop can remove these marks? Or should I start saving to get my hood and bumper repainted?

id try claying the hood again, if not take it in to be polished with a high speed buffer. that should be able to remove it. how long did you leave the bugs on for?

I honestly dont recall...I took a 640 mile round trip during a weekend and washed the bugs off the car maybe 1 week after that. You think a high speed buffer can do it? You can "feel" the bugs in the paint.

depends how bad it is, without actually seeing it in person its hard to tell, if you take it to a reputable detailing shop and see what they say, but im pretty sure polish that has a mild abrasive should be able to take it off.

Give it a good wash. Clay it several times. Polish...wax. This should take care of pretty much all of it.
