i just bought a eclipse unit of ebay for super cheap i didnt research it at all however. the number is eclipse avn5501d it has cd/dvd/navi. apparently it is a japanese system. does anyone know anything about this unit? i looked at the avn5500 and it looks like it uses the same wire harness. any input would be highly apreciated. (If you are wondering how much i got the system for i got it for $160.00)

 

The harness would be the same because they probably use them across the board with all the nav's or the similar ones anyways...

i went to a crx forum and a guy had the exact unit and he had his in english. so i am not worried about the english part as long as i get the thing up and running i will be fine not to mention that the buttons are in english on the side so there has to be a menu where you can change that
