Not an Exhaust thread =)

Why.... why everything at once?

I mean, my window motor broke so that was only a cold hour outside, but it was ok...

The TPS sensor and constant stalling, I mean it was a pain but still drivable, but it was an easy fix...

The exhaust rusting through, it's obnoxiously loud but it still runs, and paired with the stalling (which the TPS didn't completely fix, although it seems it does it less) it was at least bearable.

But now, I go outside this morning to start the car and head off to school and I push my clutch in and turn the car in and as I let the clutch up I notice something odd. The pedal didn't come up. Ok, so I figure it is 4 degree's outside, maybe some lube is just cold I'll let it warm up for 20 min and come back out and go. Yeah, no. It still stuck, so I figured I'd get on the ground and just work it loose, but it was really cold. Still didn't help. Last effort: Put it into gear and just go forward a little and get it all warmed up, except for one little thing: It wouldn't go into gear, and I tried pushing pretty hard it wouldn't budge.

Wtf why is the max breaking every which where at once? Any ideas on what this new problem could be? (Pressure plate, clutch?)

Is there fluid leaking? If so, Throwout bearing (if hydraulic)/ slave cylinder, if not, pressure plate. My guess, hydraulic part.

Why is it all breaking now? Because...
A: Its stupid cold outside and it knows you don't want to/ can't fix it right now. Actually, its because of the extreme temp changes between subzero and the running temp of the car... well, partially.
B: Your car is getting to its age where maintenance items are starting to go. some cars are at 100,000, some are at 150,000, some are at..well you get the point. Time takes its toll on mechanical and / electrical items too, everything has an age of decease. Even though its a Nissan, or Japanese for that matter, it will still break, eventually.
I feel your pain bro, my other car does that to me all the time. I am lucky with my Max so far. I just am obsessive compulsive when it comes to routine/ preventative maintenance now, it helps prolong the pain.

I'll find out what happened when I get home, AAA came and towed the car to a shop so I'll get an invoice when I get home.

Clutch Master Cylinder is blown, stealership is currently fixing it since it didn't sound like DIY to me

Thats what I kinda figured. You probably could have fixed yourself, its pretty easy and self explanatory. Just with the temps and weather, I would have went to stealership too.

Haha sorry to hear about this man. I'm blaming it on karma for posting that other exhaust thread haha. Damn they killed you on that price. Would have cost you hundreds less to do the work yourself. Damn cold weather...

Heh right? Never posting about exhaust again XD. As much as ~1k sucks, Idk if I could stand being outside long enough to do it myself. I swapped out one of my power motors in my door and my finger's went numb before I was done. (getting that last screw in that holds the window on the inside is near impossible to see/get to)
