by nissan you would wanna stay in the 40 range, my rims are 48 offset, and they fit really nice, but as for 38, i think they should fit ok,.. are you doing a drop on the car or is it dropped already?

How wide are the wheels. Offset means nothing unless you know the width. How flush do you want your wheels to be with your fenders? Higher offset (+40, +42, +48) will put the wheels further INSIDE the fenders. Lower offset(+30, +35) will bring the wheels further OUT of the fenders. My wheels are pretty flush, check sig for specs.

the tires are 245/45/18 in the rear and 225/45/18 in the front, would these be flush with my fenders??

What's the wheel width? Are they 18x8? 18x7.5? 18x8.5?

You gave me tire sizes. From the sounds of it, they will have way too much sidewall. With an 18" wheel, you most likely want something with a 40 series profile tire.
