O2 Sensor - P0136 (0707) [helpppp!!!!]

Hey everybody, I have been searching around the forum as much as I could have been without the search function... I know, I know, I will be donating soon. Anyways, I still haven't really found an answer to my question. 2 days ago my CEL came on, and I took it to AutoZone and I got code P0136 - oxygen sensor 2 in bank 1. From what I have been reading from other threads about this, the sensor is the 4 wires sensor near the CAT.

I'm still confused about which one I have to buy:
http://www.boschautoparts.com/RB.NA....&Make=INFINITI

I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me out with this.

And... Is BOSCH pretty much the same quality as OEM for oxygen sensors? Or should I buy the one from NISSAN?

The one you have is in original packaging and never been used?

I just replaced one for code p0135 (3 wire) with a bosch one from napa. I was skeptical about using the kind you have to splce it but it's been working great. It comes with everything you need to splice and instructions. Can't beat $65 either.

And it's the 4 wire one? I'm interested if yes.

What do you mean you were skeptical about the kind that I have...? I need the 4 wires one near the CAT. I believe it's downstream.

Well yea, but you replaced one of the others 2 sensors left (the 3 wires ones) with a 3 wire sensor, which is correct. Why would you expect problems? Because of the splicing you had done?

I just was not feeling great about something in direct contact with the ECU being spliced but I'm over those feelings now.

Dunno what the fuss is all about. Bosch basically created 02 sensors back in the late 80's i think it was, read that on some site

When i recently replaced my downstream 02 bad boy, it had both a nissan logo on it and a bosch stamp, so its ok just buy whichever one is cheaper

I have a used one with no codes when pulled off for $25 shipped (lower 48). The only reason I changed it is b/c I changed the front two and the car had 100,000 miles. Let me know if you want it and it's OEM.
thanks
Oliver

Thanks a lot for the info dude. Highly appreciated. CEL went off afterwards? I read about people that changed it and CEL still didn't disappear.

Thanks a lot man, I'd rather buy something new though. I'm skeptical like that. Haha.
