Test-pipe, 2.25 inlet? confuzion

I was looking around ebay to get a test-pipe, and all i could find were test pipes with a 2.25 inlet like this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nissa...QQcmdZViewItem

Is there anyone that sells a test-pipe with a 2.5 inlet and 2.5 outlet? or is this pretty much how all test pipes are?

from what i have noticed all the test pipes that are resonated have the inlet at 2.25....maybe the non resonated pipes are the only ones that have 2.5inlets? hmmm

No O2 bung? Do you just take it to the exhaust shop and get them to weld one on? How much would the usually charge?

wasn't tryna prove you wrong man you got it, not need for mr. smart guy i just didnt see it, the place i was talking about was also in Canada, who knows might of been the same place, but ill rather go with a resonator, IMO test pipes are a lil too loud

that should work, but yeah 95 and 96 has an O2 in the cat, 97-99 has it right beside the cat. technically you dont have to use it, but your engine light will stay on, ill recommend having your local performance shop custom one in... thats why i hate looking on ebay for hi flow cats, they never have one with the sensor in it

But is the wire on your O2 sensor long enough to meet the O2 bung in the B pipe?

I dont think it is.
I have a 96, with a Greddy SP1 that has on O2 Bung in the B section and my O2 sensor wouldnt make it that far, I have it sealed and run the O2 sensor in my straight pipe.

Hmm...if this is the case could i just extend the wire? I can solder an lil extension on there...but could this mess up the o2 readings? i dont c how it would...but chime in! hehe

Ive heard of guys doing that. I know some buy Bosh O2 sensors and soldered them up to the Maxima's OEM connector.

why are o2 wires any different than normal wires? hmm... muy interesante....

Well, i took a look and i do believe grand hustle is right, there is more than enough room...only problem was that the o2 sensor on the cat is much smaller than the o2 bung in the b pipe....

is there any kind of adaptor you can buy to solve this problem? Someone mentioned to be earlier that there is..but i have never heard of these...

anyone know?

I thought the same thing. the wires are even tough to cut. it's like cutting a metal pipe. and the wires dont twist. solder doesnt stick to them. try it for yourself.

well i will....i gota extend the wire a lil bit I THINK...i may have enough clearance as it is...but the reason i question you is simply because they make bosche o2's that you solder onto the OEM harness/wires....like someone mentioned b4 quite a few people on here do this...i think i would have heard them having problems by now...ur the only person to bring this up...but i will find out

Did you ever get it on? What did you do about the o2 sensor. I have an SP2 with the B-pipe bung and I am interested in what happens.
