Went to the bodyshop to check on progress for my '96. It's getting a new lower tie bar /crossmember because the subframe mount had rusted clean through.

They had it torn down, but the bad weather around here had delayed the start, and arrival of parts. I was supposed to pick it up today but instead they had only just got started today. They had the headlights/grille/bumper/radiator/condenser removed, and I could see the upper and lower tie bars. The rest of the 'frame' is good so they got the green light to proceeded with the work. The tie bar will go in tomorrow, hopefully they will finish it up tomorrow evening or sat morning. I have the day off monday, so we just planned on me picking it up monday.

Also, the mechanic who did the teardown was asking me about the FTSB and camera system, asking if I did SCCA or rally-cross. He didn't ask about the MEVI though.

the mevi with the cover looks factory. he probably didnt know it was an add on.
