Broken Grill fix?

Broken Grill fix?

ok the top of my aftermarket front gill broke, completeley in half. I wanted to know if this has happend to anyone and how they fixed it? What did you use to fix it? it looks like fibergalss bondo, but what should I use to fix it?

post some pics so we can see.

pending on how it broke and where there can be a variety of ways to fix.

fiberglass/Bondo
metal plates and bolts
zip ties.

Ill see if I take pics later, but the grill is just like yours but for a 98 max. if you're looking at the grill stiaght on, the top part is broken in half, like a pencil. Im gonna have to replace the actual grill part too....

hmm. . .

then you might be able to get away with using a metal plate and bolting it to each part the grill, and trim off un-needed metal.

JB weld comes to mind but that can get messy and tedious to clean up.

you might be able to macgyver that sh*t and drill two holes in each side then zip tie it. It would hold for the time being

Yeah, I was thinking about jb weld and someone was telling me to get some fiberglass resin then bondo, so we'll see what these auto shops tell me....thanks tho...
