HomerMAC is dishonest & apathetic
Background:
This member, HomerMAC, posted a thread requesting a trade of his Cefiro headlights for OEMs + corners. I opted to take part in the swap under the terms that he would ship me the Cefiro's once his retrofit project on my headlights was completed and installed in his vehicle. This was necessary because I assumed he couldn't drive without lights. I was very accommodating and told him if he needed a two weeks or more- that would be fine. Time passed, and the BS starting floating by. I messaged and sent email multiple times, only to get the all time winner of guilt trips when he stated 'his father died, and would ship the parts after everything was back to normal'. Another two weeks went by, a completely feasible buffer period for him to get his bearings and I was still without my parts. He said he attempted to ship something, I don't know if its my OEM or his Cefiro; I would've accepted either one at that point. The original box was printed legibly with a return address, and I forwarded my location to him via PM. This was before the new year began, it is now February, he was still using the forums actively and ignoring my messages.
******* lowlife. I considered you an upstanding member, who contributed on occasion- but not anymore.
Cliffs:
HomerMAC has parts that belong to me, and won't offer to ship them or pay restitution of any kind. Be a man and send me my parts- or do yourself a favor and don't come to any CT/MA/RI shows.

It's been awhile since I've seen him at a meet. Wish that I had my old phone because I think I had his number in it. Try going to nycmaximas.org because he's in NY so you may be able to find him there or find someone that knows him.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Yea, I went to that board thinking that he would frequent it more often than here. Sent a PM and left a neg rep on his trader rating, he hasn't 'logged in' since. I also got a chance to find an old account I have on there from 2005.
Like I said, the guy seemed like a contributing member when it came to posting and retrofits or whatever... but take it from me everyone and don't deal with him unless its face to face. I wholeheartedly hope he can pay for or replace my parts.
AllMaxxedOut- Thanks for the advice. NYCmaximas seems like a good place. I should be able to hit up some of the meets/caravans out there this summer.

Holy f**king update. Got a weird package today from the mail man. Thought to myself 'I haven't ordered anything in the last week or so'. Open it up, and BAM! some haggard Cefiros are in there...
Albeit more than half a year has passed, and they're some busted up headlights, I'm just glad you finally came through.
Take what you want from my experience, this thread can get locked.
