spare tire clearance

well, i have the z calipers and cobra rotors my spare will not fit front on rear, i dont like that, i would like it to atleast work in the rear

i was wondering if a spare tire front a 00+ max would work sence it should 17in wheel, and if it will fit in my spare tire place. anyone have experance with this???

no, it will not. The issue isn't the 17" diameter, the issue is the offset. 00 wheels are a 42-45 offset and you need more like 30-35 offset to clear....the 00 wheels don't even come close to clearing the outside of the caliper....

EDIT: didn't realize you had the z32 setup on all four wheels....

best bet: another full-size with correct offset. Since I have 3 sets that clear my BBK, I just carry one of my track wheels (17x8, 35mm offset) as a full-size spare.

You can dig up a singe G35 coupe wheel (the 17x7.5/8) for probably $100 with a worn tire and just carry that....it will clear. Or just buy a cheap aftermarket wheel with a 30mm offset or so and throw a cheap/used tire on it as a spare...

Or you could use the "blow up" Z32 spare, if you can find one.
