Lightbulb 11" of Snow = Quattro Time! (56k Warning)

So while i thought it was soon time to get out the max from hibernation when it was 60 degrees last week, i find instead 11" of snow dumping on us this weekend. Not all bad though, you can't beat an audi in the snow, just too much fun..

Action Shots!

Is there such a thing as too much fun when it comes to cars, snow, and empty parking lots?? Love sliding the maxima in a few inches of snow, but 11" would probably be nearly impossible with a maxima.

haha, yeah, no way was i going to be able to get around with the maxima. My friend has a 99 GTP and he couldn't get out of the driveway.. we had 4 guys trying to get him out ha.

The Audi is very impressive though..the ESP is a lot more advanced as i thought. Originally i thought it was just a traction control. I was really fun cruising around because of the looks we were blasting through the streets. The only cars the night before (where no streets were plowed), were various big trucks...and than us. One guy watched us with a smile on his face as he was SURE we were going to get stuck going into a driveway..we just rolled right through it..

I kinda figured ... I think i'd take 90% of the year nice weather of CA than the 10% of nice days here in South Dakota..but the snow is fun sometimes..

Nice pics. Family used to have a C4 A6 like that one, except Black/Black Leather w/ Quattro. Such a badass car and impossible to lose grip.

Oh let me tell you, it sure is (I got my lowered Max stuck last week in an unplowed parking lot...who woulda thought that a car with ~4" of ground clearance couldn't make it through 1.5 feet of snow?! ).

Cool shots poowill, looks like fun! I drove a '91 Audi 80 Quattro a few winters ago, it was a blast.

Big fan of the Quattro too. Grew up in Vermont and we had a 4000, 5000, 200 and a 90 at various times back in the day. They never left us stranded and always cooked up our big **** hill without a problem.

Great shots btw. Got em all shined up before the shoot too eh. Nice.......

That looks fun. The red A4 action shot looks good. Too bad we can't do that where I live.
